The newest product of Toyota’s marine technology division is the Ponam-28V yacht. This design was introduced as a concept at the Japan International Boat Show, it won a design award and is now going into production in conjunction with the massive diesel equipment.

The 8.5-meter-long yacht is surrounded by a fiberglass, carbon fiber and aluminum shell, and is powered by the same 3.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine as the Land Cruiser. Prado.

Inside, the cabin with the dominant white color gives 12 passengers a relaxing, spacious and clean space.

It also features a Virtual Anchor system, which can control wind and current direction to maintain position and bow while the vehicle is moored.

The Toyota Ponam-28V will be sold through a network of 50 dealers across Japan, with a retail price of less than 20 million yen (equivalent to more than $180,000).
