RMS Queen Mary 2 (QM2) is one of the largest and most famous passenger ships in the world. The ship belongs to Cunard Line, one of the oldest luxury shipping lines. Queen Mary 2 was built at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. The ship was ordered in 2000 and was officially launched and put into use in January 2004.

The QM2 was designed to replace Cunard Line’s RMS Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2). The ship’s primary mission is to ferry passengers across the Atlantic Ocean and provide a premium cruise experience.
