Queen Anne’s Revenge was the infamous warship of the notorious pirate Blackbeard.

Originally named La Concorde, it was a French slave ship.

In 1717, Blackbeard captured it and renamed it Queen Anne’s Revenge.

The ship was armed with around 40 cannons, making it one of the most powerful pirate ships of its time.

It operated mainly in the Caribbean and along the Eastern coast of North America.

The ship ran aground off the coast of North Carolina in 1718 and was abandoned.
