Types: There are different types of LNG tankers, including Moss-type carriers with spherical tanks and membrane-type carriers with prismatic tanks.

Operation: LNG tankers typically travel at speeds of 19-22 knots (about 35-41 km/h). They are often used to transport LNG from production sites to consumption areas, such as from the Middle East to Europe or Asia.
