THE INFORMATION OF BOKA OCEAN

The BOKA OCEAN (IMO 9397951) is a cable-laying vessel owned by Boskalis and registered under the flag of the Bahamas.
It is approximately 138 m long, 27 m wide, with a deadweight of around 9,800 tons and equipped with DP2 dynamic positioning.
The vessel features a ~2,400 m² working deck, a 250 t main crane, and a 7.2×7.2 m moonpool for cable operations.
Originally named Apache II, it was converted and renamed in 2023.
It is used in offshore wind projects in Europe, such as Borkum Riffgrund 3 and Sofia Wind Farm.
The vessel is currently operating in the North Sea, supporting subsea cable installation off the UK coast.
