The Maersk Ferrol is a container ship built in 2004 by J.J. Sietas KG Schiffswerft in Germany. Initially registered under the name “Frieda,” it later became part of the Maersk fleet. The vessel is 134 meters long with a beam of 23 meters and a draft of 9 meters. Its gross tonnage (GRT) is 9,990, and it has a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 11,202. The ship has a capacity of 862 TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) and is powered to reach a maximum speed of 21 knots.
