GRONLAND’S HISTORY
Grønland is a historic Norwegian whaling ship made famous by its association with Arctic explorer Roald Amundsen.
Grønland was built in the late 19th century and used for whaling in Arctic waters.
Expedition: In 1901, Roald Amundsen and a small group set out on an expedition to the North Pole on the ship Grønland with the aim of finding the Northwest Passage.
